AI Camp was established with a mission to transform AI education globally. Our efforts have successfully prepared thousands of students for both university and industry careers.
What sets us apart is our distinctive teaching approach. We combine top-notch instructors from renowned institutions like Stanford and CMU with small class sizes. This blend ensures that AI education is not only effective but also intuitive and accessible.
At AI Camp, learning is hands-on. We don't cover everything from A to Z in a traditional format. Instead, our students learn by actively creating AI products, developing sought-after skills, and building strong relationships with mentors and advisors.
We are committed to creating opportunities and believe that our true measure is the new possibilities we open for our students.
Our motivation for founding AI Camp stemmed from our own experiences with traditional education, which we found lacking in real-world preparation. Despite holding advanced degrees from top universities, we struggled to navigate the job market, unclear about available jobs, necessary skills, and potential mentors.
Moreover, the escalating costs of college education have resulted in student debt in the U.S. surpassing $1.6 trillion, with the average student graduating with $35,000 in debt. Alarmingly, about 50% of graduates struggle to find employment related to their degrees. This situation needs a transformative solution.
AI Camp was created to prepare students for the real world more effectively. Our goal is for AI Camp to act as a pivotal early intervention in a student’s life, empowering them to design the future they aspire to.
Here, students gain more than just knowledge about AI; they learn how to choose their academic major, master new learning techniques, expand their networks, and pave the way to becoming leaders in their fields.
AI Camp programs are conducted exclusively online. We connect with and instruct our students through virtual platforms (i.e. Zoom), catering to a diverse student body of thousands nationwide. Our online resources, including the learning center and coding center, are highly effective and well-equipped to support our students’ educational journeys. Absolutely! Our extensive experience and gathered data demonstrate that online learning is highly effective, enabling students to excel in coding and AI. We have successfully taught thousands of students, both online and (previously) offline, utilizing a constantly evolving curriculum tailored for online education.
Our innovative learning approach is supported by cutting-edge technologies that enhance the educational experience. We provide two main online resources: the Learning Center and the Coding Center. The Learning Center hosts all essential learning materials, including homework and lessons, specifically designed to facilitate AI learning.
The Coding Center is at the heart of our hands-on AI training. Here, students engage in the practical aspects of building AI, supported by a powerful cloud computing environment. This setup not only allows us to monitor students' progress in real-time but also enables personalized instruction tailored to each student’s needs.
At AI Camp, we focus on equipping students with the essential skills needed to create AI products, enabling them to start experimenting quickly. Our curriculum primarily utilizes Python, complemented by Pandas for effective data manipulation. We also delve into data engineering concepts, including data lakes and pipelines, to provide a robust understanding of how data ecosystems function.
In the realm of deep learning, our program covers the fundamentals of neural networks, including simple feed-forward and convolutional networks, along with network training and applications in computer vision.

At AI Camp, we focus on two key outcomes: teaching students how to learn independently using online resources and building their confidence to tackle complex concepts by themselves. During the camp, students not only learn about AI but also create their own AI products, a feat that many professionals don’t experience.
The internet has transformed access to information, with professionals benefiting from platforms like GitHub, StackOverflow, Medium, and YouTube. Unfortunately, many educational systems haven't fully embraced these tools. At AI Camp, we're working to change that. Our programs are designed to empower students to learn on their own.
When students really engage with our material, they often start working on their own projects. The most outstanding projects might lead to opportunities in our internship program. Check out some of the incredible projects our students have built in just 10 weeks!
At AI Camp, class sizes are designed to ensure personalized attention and an optimal learning environment. Depending on the program, class sizes can range from 1:6 to a maximum of 1:12 (teacher to student ratio).
For details on class sizes specific to each program, please consult the relevant section in our FAQs.

At AI Camp, while we would love to offer financial aid and/or scholarships for all our programs, we currently provide them only for our flagship program, AI Bootcamp.
Please note: The AI Camp Scholarship is only available during specific times of the year. If you are interested in learning more about the scholarship opportunities available, please visit our scholarship page at https://www.ai-camp.org/scholarship
At AI Camp, we use two main criteria to determine scholarship eligibility. Firstly, we consider the applicant’s financial background, offering full scholarships exclusively to students from low-income families. This requires income verification through tax documents. We're committed to diversity and inclusion, reserving 10% of camp spots specifically for full scholarships.
Secondly, we evaluate how well a student might benefit from our program based on their responses to essay questions in the application. A thoughtful and well-articulated application enhances the chances of receiving a scholarship, so we encourage students to take great care in presenting their case.
At AI Camp, we are passionate about spreading the knowledge of AI and fostering a hands-on learning experience. We issue scholarships because we believe that financial constraints should not prevent anyone from accessing high-quality education in this cutting-edge field. Our founders, who come from low-income families themselves, understand the challenges associated with limited financial resources. By providing scholarships, we aim to open doors for students from similar backgrounds and help cultivate a diverse community of learners and future innovators in AI.
No, AI Camp is not officially affiliated with Stanford University. However, our connection to Stanford is strong—our founders are alumni, and we are fortunate to have Professor Tsachy Weissman, a pioneer in information theory, as one of our advisors. Additionally, we have had the opportunity to teach at Stanford University. These connections enrich our programs and help us maintain high educational standards.
